It’s one of the most exciting times of the basketball season and that is the beginning of District 3 playoffs.

The undefeated and number one seeded L-S Pioneers defeated the 16th seed Mechanicsburg 70-60 in the opening round of Class 5A competition.

The Pioneers will play Northeastern Thursday night in quarterfinal action.
