The Linden Hall Lions defeated the Columbia Tide 39-30 today to win their 4th straight District 3 championship.

The Lions have not lost a playoff game during that run.

The District 3, Class 2A matchup was played at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa.

The Lions came out smoking taking a 14-0 lead.

But the Tide went on a 22-2 point run and closing the Lions’ lead to 28-25 after the 3rd quarter.

But the Lions outscored the Tide 11 to 5 in the 4th quarter to win the title.

Interesting that both teams are not deep. Linden Hall plays with just 5 players. Country Day 6.
