Lampeter-Strasburg defeated Solanco 8-3 in a Lancaster-Lebanon League Section Two softball battle.

The Pioneers scored five runs in their first at bat.

They took advantage of two errors to score 3 unearned runs.

The Pioneers’ Kara Scranton drove in two runs with a single follow by a Gabby Hiles infield RBI hit.

A throwing error on a strikeout wild pitch delivered Scranton and Hiles.

The Pioneers are now (3-2 league, 3-3 overall) and the Solanco Golden Mules (4-1, 4-1).
