The Manheim Central Barons defeated the Ephrata Mountaineers 2-1 to win the District 3, Class 5A baseball title. It is their first baseball District title ever.

The game was played at Wenger Field at Messiah College Thursday.

This win marks the fourth straight one-run win in the district playoffs for Manheim Central.

Baron pitchers Connor Rohrer and Jared Murray held Ephrata to one run and 3 hits.

The Barons put together four hits in the fifth inning scoring two runs.

Brody Martin pitched for Ephrata yielding one run and only 6 hits.
