Township finishes 2nd best in the state

PIAA 3A State Lacrosse Finals:

For the fourth year in a row, the Manheim Township Blue Streaks (24-3) came up short in the state final.

They lost to the Conestoga Pioneers 15-7, the District One champions.

The Blue Streaks’ L-L League Lacrosse MVP Alyssa Dotter scored twice as did Bronwyn Hilbert who also had 3 assists.

No less than 5 Conestoga players are headed to NCAA Division I programs.

Manheim Township is only one of four lacrosse programs to reach the state championship match at least 4 times.

Township won the LL-League, the District title and finished second best in the state. Pretty amazing.
