Cedar Crest’s Dylan Ramsey is a freshman. Yes, read that again. A freshman.

And he just won the 2022 PIAA Golf State Championship.

That makes him the first freshman to win a state title in PIAA golf.

Cedar Crest has two other alumni members who have won state golf titles and that is Blaine Peffley in 2001 and Stu Ingraham in 1977.

Mr. Ramsey finished this past season as the Section 1 leader with the lowest regular season average (70.4).

And he helped Cedar Crest win the L-L League Golf Title.

In District 3 play he finished in a tie for 6th place.
