November 18th, 2022 District 3, Class 4A semifinals

The Manheim Central Barons defeated the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers 42-6 Friday evening.

Which means the Barons will play Bishop McDevitt in the District 3 Title football game this Friday.

This is their first time back in the finals since 2018, when they won the 5A Championship.

Scoring: Brycen Armold (3TDs) & Jaden Weit (2TDs combined for 5 rushing touchdowns.

Armold ran for 239 yards in the game which puts him over the 2,000 yard mark for the season.

He is only the 8th player to run for 2,000 yards or more in a season in the L-L League.

This will be their Barons 23rd District 3 Final playoff game. They are looking to win their record 19th District Crown.

Bishop McDevitt and Manheim Central are the two winningest teams in District 3. And only the third time they will face each other.
