The baseball playoffs started tonight. At Ephrata, the Mountaineers defeated Donegal 11-1.

The Donegal Indians Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Ephrata, giving up 12 runs.
In the first inning, Ephrata got their offense started when Drew Hurst singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Ephrata scored five runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Ephrata came thanks to a triple by Hurst and a single by Coy Schwanger.
Ben Burkey was the winning pitcher for Ephrata. The ace allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out two.
Brock Hammaker took the loss for Donegal Indians Varsity. Hammaker allowed four hits and four runs over two innings.
Coy Allman went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Donegal Indians Varsity in hits.
