The Ephrata Mounts have won the 2023 Lancaster-Lebanon League Baseball Title. The game was played at Clipper Stadium.

They defeated Lampeter-Strasburg 4-3 to capture their 5th L-L league Baseball Championship. It is their first title since 2018.
It was an all Section Two competition as Ephrata won the section with a 12-3 league record and a 19-4 overall record. L-S came in second place in Section Two with an 11-4 League record and 16-7 overall.
The L-S Pioneers went up 3 to 1 in the third inning as Jason Long drove in the third run. But Ephrata rallied back to take the lead in the bottom of the inning and held it for the win.
Coy Schwanger drove in 2 runs for the Mounts.
Camryn Simes and Ben Burken did the pitching for the Mountaineers.
Simes got the win and pitched 6 innings, gave up 5 hits, 3 runs and struck out 6 batters.
Anthony Turek and Peyton Harsh pitched for the Pioneers.
District playoffs begin next week for both teams.
