Semifinal L-L League softball double header at Millersville last night saw both Hempfield and Warwick win.

They will meet in the L-L League softball title game Wednesday night, 7PM at Millersville University softball field.

It will be an all Section One matchup.

Hempfield defeated Donegal 10 to 3.

Hempfield’s Alex Gregory broke the game open with bases-loaded single giving the Black Knights a 4-3 lead. She came to the plate later on with the bases loaded and drove in another run.

The Black Knights are now (16-6). The last time they went to a softball title game was in 2016 and they won that title.

Warwick defeated Solanco 11-4 in their semifinal game with the help of Katie Heisey who hit 2 home runs and a triple driving in 4 runs for the Warriors.

Bella Smithson also hit a hone run for the Warriors.

Freshman Kate Shaak was the winning pitcher for Warwick.

Warwick now has a (16-5) record.
