The Cedar Crest Falcons have defeated the Warwick Warriors to win the L-L League Boys Basketball Championship, 45-40.

For the Falcons, it’s back-to-back titles and the 6th in school history.

RJ Young scored 9 first quarter points to give Cedar Crest a 13-6 lead. Warwick stormed back in the second quarter with a 14-4 run to take a 20-19 lead at halftime. In the third quarter, the Falcons went on a 10-0 run to take a 29-22 lead only to see Warwick answer with an 8-0 run to take the lead, 30-29 and finish the quarter ahead 32-31.

The decisive fourth quarter saw numerous Warwick shots not falling in their favor and Cedar Crest finished strong out scoring the Warriors 14-8 to win the title. Danny Speaks and RJ Young each scored 14 points to lead Cedar Crest while Parker Horst scored 15 to lead Warwick.
